PAC running group

Our PAC running group (Tue and Thurs, 19:00 to 20:30)

We as a group generally train purposefully towards events such as the Maasstad run, the half of Rotterdam or the bridge run and of course the Rotterdam Marathon (participation in competitions is appreciated but not mandatory)


The training consists of a bit of running in, a warming up and sometimes some strength exercises and then the core starts with running training. Then an interval training which is concluded with quiet walking and stretching exercises.


From January we train according to a special marathon schedule that takes into account the marathon training runs organized by PAC and offers the possibility to be well prepared for the start of the marathon or the quarter marathon.


As the founder of the running apk, I pay a lot of attention to running technique and running efficiency and I regularly ask the runners from my group to come by for a video analysis.

When can you meet me ?


you should be able to run the 10km in 55 - 60 min.

in summer months June July and August we have a 5k test run ( around the Kralingse Plas ) on the last Thursday of the month. In this test I expect my runners to run it at least once in less than 27 minutes
